Throughout Jason’s career, he has worked as a broker, property, asset and project manager for some of the world’s largest commercial real estate companies including CBRE, Inc., Cushman and Wakefield, Inc. and Grubb and Ellis, Inc., as well as several boutique firms. With over nineteen years of commercial real estate experience and having been a stakeholder in Colorado’s marijuana industry since 2009, Jason is uniquely qualified to provide unparalleled real estate and business advisory services to Avalon’s clients. Jason handles real estate and business transactions, business and property valuations, expert witness testimony and other consulting requirements. In addition to working in the marijuana industry, Jason is also a speaker with Law Enforcement Action Partnership (formerly Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) advocating against the War on Drugs and its unintended consequences. For his business and activism work in the marijuana industry, Jason has appeared in local, national and international press and has been included in feature length films, television, radio appearances, magazine articles and commercials.
Jason holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from Regis University, magna cum laude, an A.A. degree from Lamar Community College, magna cum laude. He is also a member of the Kappa Gamma Pi National Catholic College Honor Society and is a former Colorado POST Certified Peace Officer. Outside of work, Jason enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, hanging out with friends and taking time to enjoy life. Jason is married, has two daughters in college and lives in Denver, Colorado.
